Online RSVP

Wedding RSVP with meal choice and allergies in the same form

A guest confirms, picks their dish and writes their allergies in one go. You get one list, not two you have to reconcile by hand.

Why it ends up as two lists

On most platforms the RSVP button cannot be changed. Meal preferences go through a separate survey, and the answers are read on a different screen.

While the standard RSVP button is not fully editable, we have creative ways to help you get the information you need, such as meal preferences.

Hitched help centre, read on 18 August 2026. Its instruction is to create a survey and then read the answers in the activity section, filtered by survey.

So who is coming lives in one place and who eats what lives in another, and matching them by name is your evening before you can brief the caterer.

How ours works

1

One form

Name, coming or not, the dish they chose and their allergies. Same screen, one submission.

2

Per guest, not per invitation

Each person picks their own dish. If one half of a couple wants the fish and the other wants the beef, that is what you get.

3

The count already done

Your dashboard shows how many chose each dish. That is the number the caterer asks for, and you never counted it.

What it does not do, stated plainly

  • No plus-ones. If a guest brings someone, that person RSVPs separately under their own name. Other platforms have this and we do not.
  • There is no guest import: you cannot upload your spreadsheet. Downloading works, as a CSV from the dashboard.
  • We do not send reminders or messages to your guests. Sharing the site is your job.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use my own menu options?
Yes. You define the options for each course and the guest picks from yours.
What about allergies and intolerances?
There is a free-text field next to the meal choice. The guest writes theirs and you see it next to their name.
Do I have to load my guest list first?
No. The guest types their name when they RSVP. They do not need to be on a list beforehand, which is exactly where people get stuck on other platforms.
Can I see who answered what?
Yes, in the dashboard: name, attending or not, dish and allergies, plus the count per dish.
Do guests need an app to RSVP?
No. It is an ordinary web page: the guest opens the link or scans the QR code and replies there. Nothing to install and no account, for them or for you.
How is this different from a Google Form?
A Google Form collects answers, and for that it works perfectly well and it is free. What it is not is your wedding website: here the RSVP sits inside the site your guests are already reading, with your details, the menu and the schedule around it, and the answers arrive grouped per guest with their dish and their allergies.
