The order that causes the trouble

On the big platforms the list comes first. Every guest has to be entered before you share anything, and the lookup only recognises people already in it.

Add your guests first… If they are not on your list, they will not be able to find their invitation.

Bodas.net help centre, read on 17 August 2026, whose UK version is Hitched. They add that the guest must type their name exactly as you wrote it, with no nicknames or extra spaces.

That is why a share of the messages you get are guests saying they cannot find their name. They typed a nickname, or one surname too many.

You share the link

By message, on the invitation, or with the QR code. There is nothing to set up first.

They identify themselves

The guest types their name when they RSVP. It does not have to match any list, so there is no name that cannot be found.

You read the dashboard

Who is coming, who is not, what each person chose and which allergies exist, plus the count per dish.

What it does not do, stated plainly

  • —It is not a full guest manager: no Excel import, no tables, no seating plan. You can download the list as a CSV for the caterer.
  • —With no list up front, you do not know who has yet to reply. You know who has replied.
  • —No plus-ones: each person RSVPs under their own name.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to enter my guests first?
No, and that is the main difference. The list is built from what they answer.
What if someone replies twice, or types an odd name?
You will see both entries in the dashboard and can tell at a glance. There is no checking against a list you loaded, which is the price of not having to load one.
Can I download the list for the caterer?
Yes. From your dashboard you download a CSV with name, attending, dish, allergies and message. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers. What there is not is an import: you cannot upload your own guest spreadsheet.
How many guests does it take?
There is no limit on guests or replies. The price is €49 once, whether thirty come or three hundred.
